Ginataang Puso ng Saging

Ingredients :

1 piece puso ng saging
1 tablespoon rock/iodized salt
1/2 tablespoon oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/8 cup sliced onions
1/8 cup sliced tomatoes
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 cup coconut cream or evaporated milk (carnation)
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions :

1. Slice puso ng saging thinly crosswise. Add salt then let stand for a few minutes. Squeeze off bitter juice. Rinse in running water then squeeze dry.

In a skillet, heat oil then sauté garlic, onion and tomatoes. Add puso ng saging and vinegar. Bring to boil without stirring. Season to taste then add the evaporated milk. Heat for a few minutes more.
